Report Your Barn Owl Sighting

Thousands of people have reported almost 20,000* Barn Owl sightings on our Barn Owl Survey UK website. (*as of 2024)

Launched in 2013, the site provides the opportunity to log records of Barn Owls, dead or alive, anywhere in the UK. Users can create a unique log-on so they can go back and add to their records and view them.

Extensive website maintenance took place in December 2018 to keep functionality up-to-date. To help support this wonderful free resource, please consider donating to the Barn Owl Trust!

Records can help to locate and protect wild Barn Owl sites as well as identifying  hazardous ‘hot spots’ where fatalities are recorded.
