Spring is finally here and the BOT Team are finally in their snuggly new offices – you can see the photos and read all about it in this latest issue. Inside this jam-packed issue, you’ll find an update on the legacy from Gillian Grimwood, details of our current research projects, an overview of our new school talk, and the Bird News article brings you up to speed on all the owls we’ve received into our sanctuary over the last 6 months – we’ve been very busy!

Inside the front cover you will find our Diary Dates – please do take a look and book on one of our guided walks this year! Come and see the 26 acre haven we have created for wildlife, with open grassland and woodland alongside the River Ashburn. We have a new walk planned for September this year, ‘Dragonflies, Grasshoppers & Crickets Walk’, led by Josh Case our Assistant Conservation Officer. It’s been an exciting year so far here at the Trust! Working from just one room whilst our new office is being built has had its challenges but it’s also been a lot of fun and we’re all very much looking forward to moving into our new offices next month! 🤞🏼 You can read an update on the office rebuild in this new issue of Feedback. Our owl hospital has also been very busy with numerous Barn Owls, Tawny Owls, and even a Little Owl, needing our care. Mateo’s Bird News article fills you in on all our owly visitors! The LLP continues to be a haven for so much wildlife and the Sunflowers in the wild bird food crop put on a stunning display and will be food for many birds this winter. We would love to invite you to come and visit our nature reserve – we are running an Autumn Colours Walk in October and Winter Bird Walks in December, February and March. For more details and info on how to book click here.

We really hope you enjoy reading this issue of Feedback – Thank you so much for all your support – we wouldn’t be here without you!
